
Paris, Tenn.–Sons of the Confederate Veterans Isham G. Harris Camp 109 will be hosting their Annual Battle of Paris Commemoration this weekend, May 9–10. This year it will be held in the field across from McNeill Park in Paris, close to where the actual Battle of Paris was fought.
It will be held both days, Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Bring the whole family out for a powerful and educational weekend as history comes to life with Civil War living history demonstrations, reenactments, and more. Reenactors will be on site, as will a Color Guard, with live cannon firings, educational experts, speeches by period figures, and relic displays.
