Gail retired from the Mapco Company where she worked in the accounting dept. She also formerly worked in accounting for Nissan and a produce company in Nashville. She was a Baptist.
Born November 9, 1946, in Paris, TN, she was the daughter of the late John Henry “Rock” French and the late Robbie Weaks French.
She is survived by her two sons, J. Michael (Jenny) Troxler of Hermitage, TN, and J. Derek (Miwa) Troxler of Washington State; a brother, John Dale (Willene) French of Paris, TN; one grandchild, Yuki Troxler; one nephew, John William (Kristin) French of Blaine, WA; one niece, Dalana Ann French of Adamsville, TN; and two great nieces, Sydney Hessing, and Claar Ruth French.
Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./P.O. Box 788 Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 11 am – 1 pm. Her funeral service will be Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Dr. Trent Bullock officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow the service in Memorial Cemetery.
