
Waverly, Tenn.–Champion Archer Chloe McElroy of Paris won the State Archery Title and was named Shooter of the Year at the State Championship at Buffalo Ridge in Waverly over the weekend.
The organization is Scholastic 3D Archery (S3DA) which is national, and the Tennessee chapter is called TN S3DA. It’s for kids from ages 7-18.
Chloe is the daughter of John and Gracian McElroy.
Chloe has won the State Title and the Shooter of Year Title for the Young Adult division for the past three years. The Shooter of the Year title is awarded after the top 3 scores from the 6 regionals and State shoot score combined. The regionals participants are scattered all over the State.
Gracian said, “At the end of this week we go to Williamsburg ky to the S3DA Nationals. Chloe has done this since she was 10 and this will be her last year. At the nationals, it will be people from all over the United States. We’re just so proud of her.”
