Martin, Tenn.–Abbey Watkins, a graduate of Henry County High School, attended the University of Tennessee at Martin’s Summer Orientation And Registration (SOAR) event June 6 on the campus of UT Martin with her father, Justin Watkins of Paris. SOAR is a one-day orientation experience designed to introduce first-year students and transfer students to the university and ease the transition into college life. Students register for their fall 2025 classes and attend a variety of informational sessions.
