Cottage Grove, Tenn.–At the Cottage Grove Legislative Council meeting, a motion to accept the new tax rate of .2324 for the city of Cottage Grove was made by David Jackson and seconded by John Weiher and approved.
The Maple Street project should be started within two weeks.
Weiher made the motion to accept the new 2025/2026 Proposed Budget with the new tax rate addition. Jackson seconded the motion.
The erosion on a Poplar Street area was discussed. More info is needed.
Fredrick will contact TDOT about an area with erosion on Hwy 140.
