Paris, Tenn.–It’s time for the annual Back to School Bash sponsored by The Shed and The Family Resource Center and if you’re in need of school supplies, this is the place to be.
It will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at the Henry County Fairgrounds.
There is always a long line of cars that move through the fairgrounds and this year, Nana’s Treats food truck will be there giving out funnel cake bites.
Volunteers have been working hard filling up backpacks with school supplies for each grade level of students. The students must be present to receive the backpacks.
This year, an anonymous donor provided all the school supplies for Henry Schools, so they will not need any at the Back to School Bash.
Organizer School Resource Officer Michelle Brewer said volunteers are still needed to help bag the backpacks. “We’ll be there Friday morning, mid-morning, if people want to help,” she said.
