Evans, Georgia–Two Henry County High School anglers are among the fishermen on the 249 boats that hit the water early this morning for the Bassmaster Nationals 2025 tournament in Clarks Hill Lake in Georgia. The HCHS Patriots are being represented for the 9th year in a row. This year by Byron Ellis and Philip Myrick. Competitors are from all across the U.S. and Canada. Weigh-in begins at 2:30 p.m. The tournament begins today and ends Saturday, August 2.
