
LAKE COUNTY, Tenn. — A combined reward of $15,000 is now being offered by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Marshals Service for information leading to the arrest of Austin Robert Drummond, who is wanted in connection with the murders of four people in Lake County and the kidnapping and abandonment of a baby girl on a front yard in Dyer County.
28-year-old Drummond has officially been added to the TBI’s Most Wanted list. Authorities say he is considered armed and extremely dangerous, with a long history of violent crimes.
A reward of up to $15,000 is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of #TNMostWanted fugitive Austin Robert Drummond. The U.S. Marshals Service are offering up to $7,500 and TBI is also offering up to $7,500.
At a videotaped update from the scene of the murders Thursday, TBI Public Information Officer Kim Wheeler said, “Anyone who knows anything, please report it. Call 1-800-TBI-FIND or contact your local law enforcement agency. Any tips. All tips are welcome in this case.” She also read the names of the four individuals who were found murdered on a dead-end road in Lake County.
Tyreece Miller of the US Marshal’s Service said this morning on his Facebook page: “Four lives senselessly taken and an abandoned baby who will grow up with so many questions. We want this guy off the streets in this worst way and won’t rest until the job is finished! Please pray for all law enforcement involved in the investigation and search efforts. And pray for the affected friends and family of those lost.”
Drummond is described as: He’s 5’10”, 190 lbs., with brown hair, blue eyes, and a goatee. His appearance may have been altered. The TBI issued a photo of what he would look like without the goatee.
He was last known to be driving a 2016 white Audi A3 with Tennessee license plate RI 01896. The vehicle has visible damage to the driver’s side.
Drummond was serving a 13-year sentence for aggravated robbery and retaliation before his release last year. While behind bars, he faced new charges, including:
• Attempted First-Degree Murder
• Possession of contraband (weapon and controlled substance) in a penal facility
After his release, he was out on bond for multiple charges, including possession of meth with intent to sell.
Authorities are urging the public not to approach Drummond under any circumstances.
