
Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff Office is seeking to expand its Reserve Officer Program. A Reserve Officer is a “volunteer” officer that assists the Henry County Sheriff’s Office in normal operations and assists with public events.
Anyone interested in applying for the position of a Reserve Officer, can pick up an application at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office located at 210 Forrest Heights Rd in Paris, TN. All applications must be returned by the end of business day on August 15, 2025.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age
Be a US citizen
Possess a high school diploma or GED
Pass a background check
Honorably discharged from the Armed Forces for those with military experience
Pass a physical exam and drug screen
Persons selected for the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Program will be required to complete 120 hours of initial training and then complete 40 hours of training each year. Reserve Officers will be required to serve at least 16 hours a month.
