Huntingdon, Tenn.–The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center is proud to welcome GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum country artist David Nail to its stage on Saturday, September 13, at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Holbrook Headliner Season Ticket package, and individual tickets are also available for purchase.
Hailing from Kennett, Missouri, David Nail has long been recognized as one of Nashville’s most soulful and compelling voices. With a career spanning over a decade, Nail has delivered powerful hits like “Let It Rain,” “Whatever She’s Got,” and “Red Light” and albums that balance vulnerability, authenticity, and artistry. His early projects, including I’m About To Come Alive, The Sound of a Million Dreams, I’m A Fire, and Fighter, established him as a creative force unafraid to push boundaries.
In recent years, Nail has carved his own path as an independent artist, releasing some of his most personal work to date. His Oh, Mother EP was praised by Rolling Stone for its “massive and majestic” sound, while his Bootheel projects paid tribute to his Missouri roots. His 2023 EP Best of Me earned strong support from press and country radio, and 2024 has seen Nail on the road more than ever, releasing fan-favorite singles “If I Could Call” and “Why” (featuring Aubrie Sellers).
Looking ahead, Nail is preparing to release what he describes as an “elevated and exciting” new album project that embraces total creative freedom. In his own words: “My philosophy has always been, I just hope to have a good enough year that I can have a next year—while staying as true to myself as I possibly can.”
Fans can expect an unforgettable night of soaring vocals and the kind of authenticity that has made David Nail a beloved figure in modern country music.
