Paris, Tenn.–Hundreds gathered on the courtsquare in downtown Paris Tuesday evening for a vigil for slain Charlie Kirk, the nationally-known activist and author. Henry County Sheriff Josh Frey estimated there were between 1,500 to 2,000 people in attendance. “And in true Henry County fashion, everyone was respectful, everything was calm. It was a great night.” Some 1,300 battery-operated candles were handed out to the audience by the Tennessee Valley Community Church.
