Paris, Tenn.–The City of Paris is notifying drivers of ongoing traffic signal issues at two downtown intersections: Washington St & Poplar St and E Wood St & Poplar St.
At Washington St & Poplar St (near Ainley Law), the signal is flashing red and will remain in four-way stop operation until the intersection is completely upgraded as part of the City’s Downtown Signalization Project.
Replacement parts for a temporary repair are not available, making this a long-term adjustment.
At E Wood St & Poplar St (near Commercial Bank), the signal continues to experience on-and-off issues. Crews are working on repairs, but drivers should be aware that problems may recur and are urged to use extreme caution when traveling through this intersection.
