The Miss Tennessee Volunteer system, a nonprofit organization based in Jackson, Tennessee, continues to be one of the state’s most impactful platforms for young women, providing opportunities for education, personal growth, and scholarship. As one of the largest providers of scholarships for young women in Tennessee, Miss Tennessee Volunteer plays a vital role in shaping the future of young women across the state.

In addition to its statewide impact, the Miss Tennessee Volunteer system is excited to announce the addition of a new local title for the Paris and Henry County area under the Miss Paris Volunteer umbrella, Miss Henry County Volunteer. This title will provide even more opportunities for young women in this community to participate in the state’s premier scholarship program, further enhancing the reach and inclusivity of Miss Tennessee Volunteer.

Through its service-oriented program, Miss Tennessee Volunteer is not only committed to empowering young women but also serves as the number one economic driver for the City of Jackson. A 2010 survey by the Community Economic Development Commission revealed that the pageant generates over $2 million in revenue during Pageant Week alone, supporting local businesses and elevating Jackson’s prominence on the state’s economic map.

“Miss Tennessee Volunteer is more than just a pageant,” said Miss Paris Volunteer Director, Amanda Swayne. “It’s a celebration of the potential and achievements of young women in our state. We are thrilled to expand the program to Paris and Henry County, giving more young women the chance to showcase their talents, engage in community service, and earn valuable scholarships.”

This year, Miss Tennessee Volunteer awarded over $80,000 in college scholarships to 36 contestants, furthering the educational and professional aspirations of young women across the state. With Miss Paris Volunteer  and the addition of Miss Henry County Volunteer, more young women will have access to the benefits of the program, including scholarship opportunities, personal development, and the chance to become role models in their communities.

As the pageant continues to grow, the organization’s commitment to fostering leadership, service, and scholarship remains at the forefront. Miss Tennessee Volunteer contestants demonstrate not only beauty and grace but following the SERVE initiative of Scholarship, Education, Responsibility, Volunteerism, and Empowerment to make a lasting impact in their communities and beyond.

Miss Paris Volunteer is accepting entry forms for both titles for the upcoming pageant on October 5th, 2025, in Paris at KPAC. To register please email missparispageant@gmail.com
