Graves County, Ky.–Three people were injured and a semi dropped a full load of corn on the roadway after a two-vehicle collision Sunday morning.
At approximately 10:37 AM on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, the Graves County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of KY 1684 & KY 849, in the Dogwood community. Through the investigation by Deputy Larry Jones, it was determined that 42-year-old David Salin of Hickory, was traveling South on KY 1684 in a red 2007 Ford Focus. The collision forced Salin off of the roadway. The Ramirez vehicle continued eastbound, overturning onto its right side and losing its full load of corn.
Salin was transported to a landing zone and was then flown to a Nashville area hospital for treatment of his injuries. Ramirez, and a passenger in his vehicle, Anahi Garcia, 21 of Murray, were transported to Mercy Health-Paducah for treatment of their injuries. At the time of this release, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet continues to assist with scene clean up.
