
Henry, Tenn.–A hunter who fell from a tree stand was transported by air to an area hospital after the accident Wednesday afternoon.
The Henry Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene around 4 pm. Henry Fire responded with 6 firefighters. Engine 2 and Brush 1 pulling an ATV.
911 advised the individual was 10 minutes from any local roadway back in the woods. Firefighters and Carroll County EMS worked quickly to get to the individual. The patient was transported by ATV to the ambulance and then transported to McKenzie Hospital helipad .
Henry firefighters said, “We ask y’all to keep this individual in your thoughts and prayers for a fast recovery.”
