Paris, Tenn. – The City of Paris has been notified by the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) of an approved road closure on West Wood Street between South Caldwell Street and Highway 641 (North Market Street) in downtown Paris.
The closure will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24 and remain in place through 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27, to allow Bundrick Rail Services, LLC to complete railroad track repairs in the affected area.
TDOT and Bundrick Rail Services will have appropriate detour signage in place along the state routes.
The City of Paris appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as these necessary repairs are completed. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time, follow posted detours, and use caution when traveling near the work zone.
