Henry, Tenn.–The Henry Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Rolling Meadows Rd. in Henry around 1 am Sunday for a report of a structure fire. Henry responded to find a back porch nearly extinguished by a neighbor. firefighters knocked down the hot spots and started searching for the cause of the fire. Shortly after the search the team found there was a small burn pit on the back porch that had flared up. Fire officials said, “We ask the public if you’re going to burn please make sure your burn pit is in a safe location and also completely out before left unintended.” Henry VFD photo.
