Decorated Veteran Dr. Robert Gardner To Be Honored At Veterans’ Day Program

Paris, Tenn.–Join us at the Krider Performing Arts Center in Paris at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 11 for the city’s 2025 Salute to Veterans. Free to all and the doors open at 5:30 p.m.

The annual celebration will feature the 2025 Veteran Honoree, Captain Robert E. Gardner, U.S. Army, Retired. Gardner began his military career in 1963 and served as a recon and FAC pilot in Vietnam. He later served seven years in the Mississippi National Guard.  His awards include: Army Aviator Badge, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Bronze Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with 13 Oak Leaf Clusters, Presidential Unit Citation, and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. Additionally, Gardner has served the community as a veterinarian for many years.

They ask Veterans to stop by the KPAC Lobby before entering to have your pictures made.

Featured entertainment will include patriotic selections from the Paris-Henry County Community Concert Band under the direction of R. Michael Holden.  Tell your friends and family, and especially reach out to the Veterans in your life.
