Paris, Tenn.-The owner of the businesses which were searched by law enforcement Thursday issued a statement last night on social media, stating they are cooperating fully with investigators and that they continue to support the local community.
Search warrants were executed at Patriot Mart and Fuel Pro by the 24th Judicial Drug Task Force, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, and the District Attorney’s Office and items seized from the properties.
Owner Jay Sukhadia posted the following statement on social media:
“To our community:
Earlier today, law enforcement conducted a search at our locations.
No arrests were made, and our stores have remained open and operating.
We are cooperating fully with the authorities while this matter is reviewed. Because it is an active investigation, we are not able to discuss details at this time.
Our commitment to this community has always been — and continues to be — based on support, service, and trust.
We appreciate everyone who has reached out with kindness and patience.”

Sheriff Josh Frey said in a press release Thursday evening:

“On November 6, 2025, the 24th Judicial Drug Task Force, Henry County Sheriff’s Office and the 24th Judicial District Attorney Office executed search warrants at two Paris businesses. These search warrants were executed after numerous complaints and a lengthy investigation into the sale of illegal drugs. This is still an ongoing investigation and testing is being conducted all substances believed to be illegal. Once testing is completed prosecution will be determined.”

Both businesses were closed while the search warrants were being executed, with yellow crime tape around them. The businesses reopened after the searches were completed.
