Paris, Tennessee — The City of Paris will host a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Paris Fire Station #1 on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the site of the future station, located at 1555 Tyson Avenue.
City leaders, project partners, and members of the Paris Fire Department will gather to commemorate the start of construction on the modern facility, which will replace the department’s outdated headquarters. The new Fire Station #1 is designed to improve response capabilities, expand training opportunities, and better accommodate the needs of Paris’s growing community.
“This project represents a long-term investment in the safety and resilience of our community,” said City Manager Kim Foster. “We are proud to begin the next chapter for our fire department and look forward to celebrating this important milestone with our citizens, firefighters, and partners.”
The community is invited to attend the ceremony and be part of this milestone moment for Paris. A brief program will take place before the ceremonial groundbreaking.
The City of Paris extends its appreciation to the residents and community members who have supported this project and looks forward to keeping the public informed as construction moves forward.
