Jimmie C. Johnson, age 86 of Paris, TN, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at West Tennessee Healthcare Henry Co. Hospital.
Jimmie was a member of East Wood Street Church of Christ. He was Broker Owner of Paris Realty Company for many years. Jimmie was a long-time member of the Paris Country Club, and an avid golfer. He was a former instructor for TN Educational Real Estate Systems, and a former Jaycee. Jimmie was a US Airforce Veteran and later had the privilege of serving as State Commander of the AMVETS.
He was born June 6, 1939, in Paris, TN to the late William Ewing Johnson and the late Ethel Burnett Johnson.
Jimmie was married to Alice Carol Warmack “Cookie” Johnson, and she preceded in death on July 26, 2005.
He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Carol Johnson of Paris, TN; son, Mark (Rosie) Johnson of Paris, TN; six grandchildren, Alex (Sagan) AuBuchon, Taylor (Lexi) AuBuchon, Lauren (Jeff) Marcum, Chelsea (Clint) Spivey, Cara Marie Johnson, and Kristin Nicole Johnson; and four great grandchildren.
Besides his wife and parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Johnson Patrick and Norma Tayloe.
Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. He is to be cremated with a private family service held at a later date.
