Paris, Tenn.–Yep, it’s almost that time! Almost time for the 2026 Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction which begins January 6 and goes through March 4. Auctioneers gathered today for their annual session in which they set their calendar for the two-month-long event. Auctioneers this year are Andy Collins, Noel Hatman, Ray Compton, Wendy Barnhart, Jamie Orr, David Jackson, Darrin Thompson and Amy Veazey. Also in the photo is Jessi Smith, vice-president of the board. The event will again be on our radio station WHNY 104.7FM and 1000AM and will be livestreamed on our HenryCountyNow website. Over $500,000 was raised in 2025 for Helping Hand and the monies were distributed to some 90 non-profit service organizations.
