
Paris, Tenn.–With county offices closed on Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Henry County Commission will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 20 at the courthouse. Among a long list of agenda items are a presentation by Rob Goad of the Paris-Henry County Industrial Committee; presentation by the Renaissance Historic Exteriors firm; appointment of a Road Board Commissioner for District 5; enter into an agreement with Allen Searcy Builders for construction of the new Henry County office building on Hwy. 79S; approve removal of the courthouse bell tower; approve proposal for the reconstruction of the courthouse bell tower and clock.
As always, the meeting includes a citizens’ forum and is open to the public.
