
Paris, Tenn.–The crew was at work cooking for this morning’s ‘Prayer Warriors’ Community Breakfast for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The breakfast at the Central School building was sponsored by the UAW Local 9025. Great breakfast was served: eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, grits, oatmeal, ratatouille, biscuits, baked goods, juice, coffee. County and city officials were on hand: Sheriff Josh Frey, Police Chief Ricky Watson, Commissioners David Webb and Kenneth Humphreys, Court Clerk Mike Wilson, Trustee Randi French, Judge Vicki Snyder. More MLK Day activities will be held this evening. The evening program “A Conversation with the Elders”, at 6 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 401 Irvine St., Paris. Awards given, good music.
