Kirkland Discovery Awards Gala takes place Saturday, March 21, honoring three remarkable leaders with deep West Tennessee roots: Mike Cox, founder of Little General stores; Allison DeMarcus, television personality and founder of the Miss Volunteer America Pageant; and Lee Marshall, founder and CEO of Kids to Love. The evening will be hosted by Matt Marshall, president and CEO of United Way of Tennessee, with dinner by Artisan Kitchen and entertainment by The Jackson Symphony.
