Helping Hand Now At $84,452; Saturday Auction Cancelled

Paris, Tenn.–With the $2,406 raised today, the total for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $84,452. Items today were donated by Oakland community, Junior Livestock, Latter Day Saints and Habitat for Humanity.

Auctioneer today was Wendy Barnhart, with Paris Quota manning the phones. There were 11 slates.

Helping Hand has made the decision to cancel Saturday’s auction due to the forecasted snow. It was supposed to be Educator’s Day, which will be rescheduled.

Friday the auction will go on as planned, with items will be donated by Central Point community, Bridge of Hope Church, and Tennessee Valley High Bass Club. Saturday is Henry County Educator’s Day.

The auction begins on the weekdays at 12:30 p.m. and on Saturdays at noon.
