Paris, Tenn. – Due to inclement weather forecasts Henry County General Sessions Civil Court scheduled for Monday, January 26 is canceled.
Henry County General Sessions Criminal Court scheduled for Tuesday, January 27 is also canceled.
Those who have court cases scheduled for General Sessions Criminal or Civil Court and are represented by an attorney should contact their attorney next week to ask about their new court date. Those who are representing themselves without legal counsel should contact the court clerk’s office next week to ask about their new court date.
There is no Juvenile Court scheduled for next week, so none had to be canceled.
Previously this week, Circuit Criminal Court made the decision to cancel their court scheduled for Monday, January 26, and it has been rescheduled for Friday, February 6. Circuit Court will begin at the Henry County Jail at 9:00 a.m., then will resume at the Courthouse (101 W. Washington Street) at 1 p.m.
