Matthew Thomas Paschall, age 29 of Memphis, TN, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Saint Frances Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Matt was born in Paris, TN, on July 5, 1996. He is the son of Stephen T. “Steve” Paschall, and Teresa Crimble Paschall, both survive of Paris, TN.
He attended the Memphis School of Preaching and was a member of Whitlock Church of Christ. He previously worked at Bearing and Supply.
Along with his parents, Matt is survived by two sisters, Megan (Cody) Belvin of Southaven, MS, and Paige (Zach) Golson of Dyersburg, TN; grandparents, Martha Grooms of Puryear, TN, Carl Paschall of Paris, TN, and Betty Crimble of Paris, TN; nephews, Tucker Belvin, Wyatt Golson, and Cooper Golson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and numerous friends at Memphis School of Preaching.
Matt was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joe Crimble and Gary Grooms.
Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Friday, February 6, 2026, at Ridgeway Funeral Home, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and continue Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Eastwood Church of Christ, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Eastwood Church of Christ officiated by Chris Butler, Dwayne Butler, and David Gulledge.
Burial will follow at Walker Cemetery with Dustin Pool, Blake Stewart, Willie Bagwell, Michael Clarke, Shane West, and Eric McKee serving as pallbearers.
Friends at Memphis School of Preaching will serve as honorary pallbearers.
