
Wingo, Ky.–A Tuesday afternoon collision resulted in a Mayfield man being transported to TriStar-Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
On February 10, 2026, at approximately 4:26 P.M., the Graves County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Folks School Road & KY 339 South for a single-vehicle, injury collision. This was between Dublin and Wingo in the Baltimore area of Graves County.
The investigation determined that Ashton Mason, age 22, of Mayfield, was operating a 2002 Dodge Durango traveling Northbound on KY 339 South. Mason ran off of the shoulder, attempted to re-enter the roadway before colliding with a bridge and coming to a rest in a creek.
Ashton Mason was transported from the scene to the Wingo Elementary School Baseball Fields by Mayfield/Graves Co EMS, where he was airlifted to Tristar-Skyline Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Deputy Chad Hall investigated the collision. He was assisted by Sergeant Richard Edwards, Deputy Greg Sloan, Mayfield/Graves County EMS, the Mayfield Fire Department, Air Evac and the Wingo Fire Department.
