Dover, Tenn.–Mission Accomplished.
Stewart County Sheriff Frankie Gray and Dover Police Chief Bickford achieved their goal of raising $5,000 for the local CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates) program and all they had to do was stay on the roof of the county courthouse all day Friday.
They said, “We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who donated and attended the Casa event at the courthouse today.Once again,this community has demonstrated its generosity when presented with a worthy cause. I am deeply honored to serve as your Sheriff and Chief Bickford shares my pride in serving Dover and this community.”
They have met and exceeded our goal,and although not all donations have been counted, contributions have substantially surpassed $5000.
