Paris, Tenn.–First Baptist Church raised a whopping $29,750 Saturday, making the overall total raised for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Now now at $249,299.
With over 400 items donated Saturday, there was a day and night auction, plus a silent auction and First Baptist Church members served lunch. Auctioneers were Jamie Orr and Doug Taylor and the Springhill Baptist & Friends group manned the phones.
Today, items will be donated by the Henry/Bunns community, the Henry Volunteer Fire Department, Mary’s Kids and the Senior Citizens Center.
