Camden, Tenn.–As Sheriff Kenny Christopher said over the weekend, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office is expanding its search for 75-year-old Alma Fowler, who has been missing from her assisted living facility in Camden for almost a week.
Benton County investigators visited this morning with Graves County, Ky. Sheriff’s officials. According to Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden, leads or tips led them to request information on Fowler be shared with our local community, as she has ties to Mayfield, Ky.
Christopher told HenryCountyNow over the weekend search teams have shifted their focus to include other areas based on tips received.
Fowler was reported missing Wednesday, February 11.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a Silver Alert Thursday morning for a woman with a medical condition who went missing from Benton County.
According to officials, Ms. Fowler is 4-feet 11-inches tall, weighs about 110 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes.
The TBI said Fowler was last seen near Herrington Road in Camden, wearing a green puffy jacket, tan jeans, white snow boots, and a white headband.
Christopher said Ms. Fowler has several medical conditions that may impair her ability to get safely back to the facility.

Tennessee Highway Patrol said its Jackson district is even helping with the search, both on the ground and in the air.

No additional details have been released about the circumstances surrounding Fowler’s disappearance.
