Margaret Louise Sanders Corbitt, age 81 of Big Sandy, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at her residence.
Margaret was born in Cleveland, OH, on June 17, 1944, to the late James Morris Sanders, and the late Anne Frances Hastings Sanders.
She married Michael D. “Mike” Corbitt on June 16, 1998. Mike survives of Big Sandy, TN.
Margaret formerly lived in Ohio and moved to Tennessee, upon her retirement from General Motors to care for her parents. She found joy in spending time with them, as family was everything to her. She was thrilled to find the love of her life, Michael, and enjoyed many years with him building that life that she always wanted. Her family will miss her terribly. She would want her family to celebrate her life and find joy in the moments throughout life, as our time on Earth is too short. She will be waiting with open arms at the pearly gates of heaven to greet us one day.
In addition to her husband, Margaret is survived by three children, Marjorie Cook of Akron, OH, Brian Ozanick of Big Sandy, TN, and Waylon (Anna) Westfall of Mentor, OH; two stepchildren, Rebecca Jean (Bobby) Burcham, and Michael Allen (Brittany) Corbitt of Camden, TN; two brothers, James “Jimmy” Sanders, and Larry Sanders, both of Ohio; eight grandchildren, Elizabeth (Paul) Whorten, Alex (Jennifer) Cook, Shiloh Burcham, Mattea Burcham, Brittany Burcham, Adriana Burcham, Allen Corbitt, and Kensley Corbitt; and seven great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Thompson.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, February 16, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
