Paris, Tenn.–Crews were busy today installing a new HVAC unit for the Krider Performing Arts Center in Paris. City of Paris Parks & Recreation Director Tony Lawrence said the project is a joint venture of the Paris Special School District and the city of Paris. The building houses KPAC, Paris Elementary School and the Paris Civic Center. Lawrence said the new HVAC unit replaces the original one that has lasted 25 years. The new unit is up to the latest standards “and hopefully it will last us another 25 years,” Lawrence said. He said Culley Mechanical of Paris got the bid for the job. Shannon McFarlin photo.
