Puryear, TN – Read Across America is in full swing this week! Students at Henry County School System are enjoying a star-studded lineup of guest readers, including a special visit from Director of Schools, Dr. Leah Watkins.
In Sheila Grogan’s second-grade classroom at Harrelson Elementary in Puryear, students explored new worlds thanks to some special guest readers. Big thanks to the Henry County High School students who visited our elementary schools to share their favorite stories and celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday with the next generation of readers.
