Paris, Tenn.–A Puryear man is being held on $150,000 bond at the Henry County Jail on charges of theft: one for taking construction equipment and the second charge for taking a generator from Paris Landing State Park.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has recently recovered stolen property from two theft cases. The recovery of property occurred on 3-5-26. Officers executed a search warrant at 1915 Osage Crossland Rd. Puryear. During the search, officers did find stolen construction equipment from a theft on Highway 69N and a stolen generator that was taken from Paris Landing State Park. Jesse Whitaker was arrested and charged with two counts of theft.
He was booked into the Henry County Jail and placed on a $150,000 bond.
Other incidents of recovering stolen property also occurred recently in which another generator and propane tank was recovered. The property is unrelated to the 1915 Osage Crossland search warrant.
