MARTIN, Tenn. – People can now tour the University of Tennessee at Martin without leaving home, thanks to a new feature unveiled by the university.

Using immersive 360-degree photography, the virtual tour feature on the university’s website offers interactive, self-guided access to several key locations across the main campus and six regional centers.

“Our virtual tour gives students the opportunity to explore UT Martin from anywhere and at their own pace,” said Audrey Hampton, UT Martin campus visit coordinator. “It allows prospective students and families to experience our campus, our facilities and the overall student environment, helping them see what it means to thrive as a Skyhawk.”

UT Martin’s regional centers include locations in Jackson, McNairy County/Selmer, Parsons, Ripley and Somerville in West Tennessee and Springfield in Middle Tennessee. These centers provide thousands of people with convenient access to a bachelor’s degree through UT Martin.

Visitors to the webpage can tour the exterior of buildings, learning areas and landmarks on campus or take a look inside classrooms and laboratories.

A vocal narrative provides insight to each virtual tour, giving visitors more information about what they can find at UT Martin. It makes for an excellent first step in getting to know the university community.

To take part in the virtual tours, visit www.utm.edu/visit and select the virtual tour link.

To schedule an on-campus tour, contact Hampton at 731-881-7032 or go to www.utm.edu/visit.

For more information about UT Martin, visit www.utm.edu or call 1-800-829-UTM1 (-8861).
