Dover, Tenn.–A Paris driver was arrested in Stewart County on drug charges following a traffic stop.
Jon Reich, Jr., age47, was stopped eastbound on Hwy. 79 by Investigator Aaron Page due to violation of the seat belt law. Once the Investigator made contact with the driver and passenger in the vehicle, he could immediately smell an odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle.
The driver, Jon Reich Jr., was asked to exit the vehicle for further investigation. Consent was given to search his vehicle and meth and several paraphernalia items were found in the vehicle. Reich was placed under arrest at that time because the vehicle was registered to him,and all the narcotics were within his reach.
