McKenzie, Tenn.–Mike Murphy joins the Renaissance staff as its Technical Assistant.
A native of Nashville, Mike first arrived at Bethel University as a member of Renaissance Theatre’s second class in 2007. During his time at Bethel, he met his wife, Samantha. Today they live in Paris, Tennessee with their 10-year-old son, Jack.
He spent several years serving in student ministry and most recently has worked as a freelance videographer, editor, and content creator. Mike brings a deep passion for live production, with experience in theatre, music, and podcasting. He also serves on the production team at Overflow Church, where he enjoys worshiping through lights, sound, and camera work.
Mike is especially excited to return to the program that meant so much to him as a student and looks forward to investing in the next generation of Renaissance students in the same way the Renaissance staff invested in him.
