Rebecca Lee Lemonds age 55 of Paris, TN, died Monday, March 16, 2026, at her residence.
Becky worked as a bartender at the VFW Post 1889. She had previously worked in the plumbing field with Dale Routon and David Lampkins, and at the Kitchen Table. She enjoyed being around other people, going to her grandkids’ ball games and spending time with her family.
Born December 1, 1970, in Paris, TN, she was the daughter of the late George Daniel Shankle and June Williams Shankle of Buchanan, TN.
Along with her mother, she was also survived by her special friend, Carl Wayne Tanner of Paris; three children, Jessica Lemonds of Paris, Ashley (Ryan) Gaut of Mansfield, TN, and Larz Lemonds of Chattanooga, TN; a brother, Jay (Jennifer) Shankle of Rossville, GA; and six grandchildren, Markie, Farrah, Kinsley, Jordan, Shaleigh, and Jax.
Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./ P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Chad Kennedy and Robert Jourdan officiating.
Larz Lemonds, Ryan Gaut, Darwin Webster, Edie Gardner, Landen Shankle, Ricky Tanner, Jax Gaut, and Eli Shankle will serve as pallbearers. Members of VFW Post 1889 and its Auxiliary will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Burial will follow the service in the Hillcrest Memorial Park.
