Paris, Tenn.–Mineral Wells Animal Clinic is announcing that Dr. Carter Arnold is a new partner to join with Dr. Chad Edwards. The new ownership took place at the beginning of 2026 after Dr. Chuck Lyons’ retirement.
Dr. Arnold is a 2022 graduate of Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine, where Arnold also completed a large animal internship. He is a native of West Tennessee, growing up in Obion County. He raised and showed sheep around the country before college. He attended the University of Tennessee at Martin prior to attending veterinary school.
Mineral Wells Animal Clinic is a leader in veterinary care in West Tennessee and prides itself on both large and small animal medicine. Dr. Arnold is excited for this new opportunity: “We bring a level of medicine that is not comparable in West Tennessee, by providing orthopedic surgery, same day lab results, and in house and on the farm large animal medicine. After working as an associate for 2 ½ years at Mineral Wells I can see a future where we offer more while keeping the privately owned veterinary clinic experience for the client.”
Dr. Chad Edwards said, “Our goals moving forward are to provide a smooth transition for employees and clients over the next year.” Both owners (Edwards & Arnold) want to become a resource for the community as well as being seen as a leading provider of high quality veterinary medicine for your pets.
We encourage you to visit Mineral Wells Animal Clinic and see what they have to offer. Mineral Wells Animal Clinic is open Monday-Friday 7am-12 and 1pm-5pm Saturday 8am-12pm, taking walk-ins however appointments are encouraged.
