
Paris, TN — Commercial Bank and Trust is pleased to announce that Rena Barker has joined the bank as a Mortgage Loan Originator serving the Paris market.
A lifelong resident of Paris, Barker brings nearly three decades of banking experience and a strong commitment to relationship-based service. In her role, she will assist clients with home purchases and refinancing while guiding them through the mortgage process with personalized support and communication.
Barker began her banking career with Commercial Bank and Trust 29 years ago and is excited to return to the organization where it all started. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of roles in the banking industry, including Mortgage Originator, Consumer and Commercial Lender, and financial advisor. She has also managed multiple regional banks, gaining extensive experience in lending and client relationship management.
“I love being a relationship banker and helping people achieve their financial goals,” Barker said. “Whether it is helping someone purchase their dream home or restructuring debt to improve cash flow, it is incredibly rewarding to walk alongside clients and help make their goals a reality.”
Barker earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Murray State University. She remains active in the Paris community and currently serves with the Grove Parent Action Committee and the Henry County High School Baseball Boosters.
She and her husband, Jeffrey, a Farm Bureau agent of 19 years, have two children. Their daughter Bailey is a junior at the University of Mississippi, and their son Brooks is a freshman at Henry County High School. The family enjoys spending time on Kentucky Lake and attending local sporting events, while also cheering on the Volunteers, Titans, and Ole Miss Rebels.
