Paris, Tenn.–Paris BPU crews will begin fire hydrant flushing across the community starting Monday, March 23, and continuing throughout the week. This routine maintenance helps keep our water system operating efficiently and ensures hydrants are ready when they’re needed most.
During flushing, customers in the area may notice:

If this occurs:

Run cold water for a few minutes until it clears.

Check water before doing laundry to avoid possible staining.
