
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has announced the reinstating of its Litter Program as part of the Keep Henry County Beautiful program.
Effective April 7, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office began a litter program in Henry County. The Sheriff’s Office, utilizing inmates under the supervision of Deputy Jerry Wilson, will be removing litter from the roadways throughout Henry County. The litter program will continue on a daily basis Monday through Friday.
Sheriff Josh Frey said on the first day of the project, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Litter Program removed 1500 pounds of litter from the roadways.
