Dover, Tenn.–The suspect from Venezuela that the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office has been seeking this week has been apprehended. The sheriff’s office still has not released his name.
At 5:15 a.m., this morning, the Sheriff’s Office received a call from a citizen about a suspicious subject in the area of the Dollar General Store and the Guadalajara Restaurant at Keel Hollow.
Corporal Bolden responded and observed the subject in the parking lot. The subject attempted to flee, and after a short foot chase Cpl. Bolden was able to grab the subject during a struggle that began with the suspect being tased.
Cpl. Bolden was able to detain the suspect until Deputy Mickle arrived, and they were able to take the suspect into custody. Great job,Cpl.Bolden and Deputy Mickle.
The unnamed man was a passenger in a vehicle and during a traffic stop Wednesday, he fled on food. He was wanted on drug charges by the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office and also wanted by ICE.
