
Paris, Tenn.–Groundbreaking for the new Henry County Government Offices Building will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at 1115 Tyson Ave. Site preparations have already begun for the 20,245 square foot building.
The following offices to be located in the new office building: Trustee, Property Assessor, Register of Deeds, County Mayor’s office and budget office, County Clerk, as well as a County Commission meeting room.
County Mayor Randy Geiger said officials are excited to “improve efficiency in public services by centralizing key county offices currently housed in the historic Henry County Courthouse and courthouse annex.”
The site is across the roadway from the building which houses the Henry County Extension Service and Driver’s License Bureau. Parking will be available across the roadway and adjacent to the site.
