Murray, Ky.–While at Murray State University for the inauguration of new President Dr. Ron Patterson, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear took time for a selfie with Dr. Patterson on campus. Governor Beshear said, “I was honored to welcome Ron Patterson as the 15th president – and the first African American president – of Murray State University. Dr. Patterson’s dedication to serving students will lead this great institution into an even brighter future, and we are proud to have him in Kentucky.”
