Ty Simpson of Martin posted photos on social media of his big night last night at the NFL draft, including this one of he and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell after the announcement.
“Hard to put into words what this means. No place I would rather be. So grateful to my family and everyone who has been part of this journey with me. So grateful to the Rams for believing in me. Jesus Blessed. Let’s get it, LA!,” he said.
With the 13th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams selected Ty Simpson. Westview High School Football officials said, “We are so proud of Ty, what a moment for the Simpson family!” Simpson was a standout with Westview High School and was quarterback for Alabama. His parents were interviewed on ESPN after their son was picked.
