Murray, Ky.–A Murray man is facing several charges after evading arrest.
On May 4, 2026, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 94 East using radar. Deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop; however, the driver turned off the vehicle’s headlights and accelerated, turning onto Pottertown Road in an apparent attempt to evade law enforcement.
The vehicle subsequently came to an abrupt stop at Cahoon Road, where the driver was taken into custody without further incident. The subject was transported and lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center.
