Join us this Saturday, May 23rd from 8am – 12 noon at the Martin Farmers Market for the season’s grand opening. The Martin Farmers Area Farmers Market will feature youth entrepreneurs from our region. Live music will be provided by Karen and the Tantrums from 9am – 11am.
There will be an additional 45+ vendors selling locally made and produced products including fresh vegetables, eggs, beef, fresh breads, soap, and artisan foods. Sly Coffee Truck will be our featured food truck that day. Support your local businesses, meet your farmers, and engage with young entrepreneurs!
This season the Farmers Market will offer two produce incentive programs for people of all ages with participant token redemptions! The Power of Produce (PoP) Program will be for children 0-18 years and a Market Mile program for adults 18+. Anyone who participates in those programs will receive a token equivalent to $3 that can be used to purchase produce from participating vendors. This project is funded under a Grant Contract with the State of Tennessee.
